Terms and Conditions

By making a booking and agreeing to these booking conditions, you consent to the Company’s and Diamond Resorts International Club, Inc.’s staff and personnel taking photographs and/or video footage of you and your family members and guests during the trip and that these images may be used and displayed by the Company, Diamond Resorts International Club, Inc. and their subsidiaries and affiliates, royalty-free and in perpetuity, for publicity, sales, marketing and/or training purposes including, but not limited to, in brochures, social media, websites material and in the media. Photos and video footage supplied by you or other team members may also be used as described above. Diamond Resorts International Club, Inc. and its subsidiaries and affiliates are intended third party beneficiaries of this section of the Agreement.

Each accommodation reservation must be accompanied by an event package for each person staying at the resort. Bookings for accommodations-only will not be accepted for this offer. All guests staying in the accommodation unit must purchase an event package. Space is limited. The event may be cancelled at the discretion of Diamond Resorts® if the minimum number of participants is not met. In that circumstance, members who have booked are still entitled to receive their discounted accommodation rate and their reservation will still be valid, but the payment made by the member for the event package cost will be refunded in full.


The points will be deducted from your account when the reservation is made. Cash per person for the event package must be paid in full at the time of reservation by debit card/credit card for all guests. All package/event fees are transacted in USD or BPS. Exchange rates are approximate as determined by your financial institution on date of transaction. Any exchange/transaction fees charged by the financial institution are the responsibility of the cardholder. Additional guests may be added after the original reservation, but the event package price must be paid in full prior to arrival. Members are encouraged to purchase a Reservation Protection Plan to ensure point reimbursement should they need to cancel. If no protection plan is purchased, then Diamond Resorts® standard cancellation policy and points forfeiture table will apply.

Cancellation fee per person for cash event package will be 10% of the event package fee if cancelled more than 60 days in advance of event, 50% if cancelled on or after 60th day prior to event to 31st day prior to event, and non-refundable if cancelled 30 days or less prior to arrival.

Any complaint arising during your vacation should be directed to Diamond Resorts, its representative or the accommodation management as soon as possible. Matters can often be resolved on the spot at the resort when our representative or accommodation management can see and understand the exact nature of any problem you have.

If any such problem cannot be resolved in a satisfactory manner by the above parties, details of the complaint should be sent in writing (by recorded delivery) to Diamond Resorts International, 10600 W. Charleston, Las Vegas, NV 89135. Your complaint should be sent to us within 28 days of the date of return from your vacation. In the event that you do not notify us within this period, this may affect our ability to investigate the complaint and may impact on the way in which your complaint is dealt.

If you are traveling abroad, please ensure that you have adequate insurance coverage in place.

If you do not have a valid VISA when you travel abroad, you may be refused entry at your intended destination. Your passport must be valid for the duration of your stay and must remain valid for a period beyond the planned stay. It is your responsibility to ensure that everyone traveling in your party has a valid passport and that you comply with immigration requirements for the country you are visiting. You should confirm these with the relevant embassies and/or consulates. We do not accept any responsibility if you cannot travel because you have not complied with any passport, visa or immigration requirements.

All children traveling must have their own passport. All children must be 12 years old on the first day of the Member Event in order to book onto the Member Event.

The Big Journey Company are managing the Member Events on behalf of Diamond Resorts and that any questions related to the Member Event should be directed to us: events@thebigjourneycompany.com or call 1.855.624.4386 or +44 (0) 844 3350 197 so that we may assist. Diamond Resorts will be collecting the payments & allocating points and units, but The Big Journey Company will deal with the organisation of the Member Events.
